Miguel challenged us to find new voices. Over the next week and a half, I will profile eight bloggers that I’ve found informative and intriguing. Most represent a leadership perspective. Most are relatively unknown. All are thinking in deep and interesting ways and thus deserve to be brought closer to the surface of the blogosphere.
Today’s new voice: Kelly Christopherson, Educational Discourse
Kelly is a principal in Eston, Saskatchewan. Some of you may know him from the little discussion he and I had a while back about Marc Prensky. Here are a few posts to get you started:
Happy reading!
YOU are a new voice!
Keep singing!
Take care,
Miguel
Hi Scott, Thanks for profiling Kelly. He and I have had conversations about how a person gets to be a part of the conversation. It is a little cold on the outside looking in at times. I understand your comments about wanting to extend your influence and engage in conversation and seeing that reflected in your blog stats. I felt the lack of traffic on my blog when I posted the other day and hoped for a conversation to begin. If you click on my name you will get the post to which I am referring. So I am here to comment on your high traffic blog and hoping that it will bring some people to my site to talk about the attention economy.
Thanks for the space. Keep fueling the conversation.
Susan
Thank you for this. In particular, sharing bloggers in leadership position will help as I meet with my own administrators and try to get them reading/sharing with other school leaders. This will only support effort that we are making in shaping learning. You voice is one I have come to value and as you “plug” new ones, it encourages those of us who are new to keep on contributing. Others our there are looking. Thanks.
