When you approach your work with the humility that everything you do is open for dialogue and can be made better, the rewards you reap are immeasurable.

  1. It also helps if you encourage feedback. Whenever I give someone copies of lessons or activities that I do, I ask for them to tell me any changes or adaptations that they make. Some of my biggest improvements have come from that. It’s amazing what a new set of eyes sees.

  2. This is possible when there is a deliberate pursuit to cultivate a culture of of trust and transparency in the organization. Collegiality breeds endless problem solving opportunities that result in excellence and high expectations for both collective and individual accountability.
