Edubloggers and eduTwitterers, share your recipes at Blog Tweet Cook!

blogtweetcook03Okay, I don’t know if this is a great idea or a dumb one but I thought I’d roll it out and see (the Twittersphere seemed to like it a few days ago)…

I am pleased to announce the formation of BlogTweetCook.org, an online edublogger/eduTwitterer cookbook. Are you an educator who blogs or tweets? Do you also have a great recipe to share? If so, head on over to Blog Tweet Cook and add your delicious contribution(s)!

As always, suggestions and feedback are welcome!

[Hat tip to an earlier, unpublicized idea by Jennifer Jones, John Pederson (Pot Roast Nachos!), and Cindy Seibel.]

  1. Are you an educator who blogs or tweets and has a recipe to share and likes to use words like “twittershpere” and knows how to do a Rubik’s cube in 20 seconds or less and has an autographed photo of Mr. Green Jeans from The Captain Kangeroo Show and still wears Converse high tops and listens to Journey and likes “white pizzas” and totally RickRolled that dweeb and can do tricks on their Segway and…

  2. @teacherninja: So I’m guessing you’re not a big fan of this idea… =) Hey, I wish I had an autographed photo of Mr. Greenjeans. That would bear a hefty price on eBay, I’m guessing!

  3. I’m kidding. I just thought the weird contrast of “Are you an educator who blogs or tweets?” (which sounds funny to say out loud by itself) next to “Do you have a recipe to share?” was funny and my brain automatically went down the rabbit hole of more and more specific sub groupings. I have no clue where that Mr. Green Jeans reference came from. Hope I’m not getting a fever…

  4. I don’t know about the Mr. Green Jeans issue, but my question is, why is it only for educators who blog and tweet?

  5. Blogging and tweeting makes us hungry?

  6. Are you an educator who blogs or tweets and has a recipe to share and likes to use words like “twittersphere” and thinks he can distract attention from his underperforming team’s 9th place standing in BlogBall by changing the subject to recipes…

    I’m just saying.

  7. THANK YOU! This is one thing that not only will be fun but will fill a real purpose for me. Ever since losing everything in the Sayre Fires in Nov cooking has been a real trouble spot..years of recipes and cookbooks gone up in smoke (LOL).
I have to admit I may not have to many recipes to contribute but I will sure enjoy the chance to join in and rebuild my love of cooking which has really waned under the stress of life!
