		<description>I really like that you framed your literacy curriculum around Essential Questions.

It clearly puts the focus on the learning and not on the tools.

I think framing it in simple, clear language does make it more accessible to teachers, and as I said, just the fact of having the focus on the beliefs, not the tools, changes the interaction around technology.

(I personally liked the five questions--somehow seemed clearer to me).

But the power of creating this model from the grass-roots up of your team, and asking these serious questions of yourselves and team leaders prior to coming to the teachers with any sort of curriculum is such an excellent model.

I think the last piece is important--too--often curriculums are put in place, analyzed, discussed--but then when it comes to connecting it to the classroom, it just becomes a document that isn&#039;t utilized, because it is so static.
