		<description>I am a secondary school administrator in the states.  When you speak of buy in one interesting strategy we&#039;ve developed is that of the Leadership Team.  in our format we meet once every other week.  Membership consists of the administration plus peer elected teachers, students, and a parent representative.  These meetings bring all players to the table and provides for a creative open discussion.  I&#039;ve been using it now for four years and find it to be tremendously helpful especially in the area of technology and initiatives.  Most of these come directly from the teachers and students.

When administrators are open to input and collaboration good ideas come forth. Buy in becomes easier as well because the teachers who are on the team are elected by their peers.  This means they are highly respected.  This helps with buy in.
