Scott, thanks for the offer (and the Roy Orbison reference). I was proud of this observation on my blog a couple of weeks ago: http://tinyurl.com/224q5r.

I totally get this Scott-there are times when I post and think "yes--that gets right to it", usually about bigger picture ed stuff in New York and NOT ONE person will comment. Glad to read that I'm not the only one who's had the experience--shows no matter how well we think we know our readers, they've got a mind of their own.

I was chuckling the whole time I was reading your post.

This rang so true!

I think it'd be a great idea to feature "great posts" around the blogosphere once a week or once a month.

Anyway, here's my humble contribution ;)

Straight from the graveside of Lazurus, here are my picks for a “milk carton” billing (did I use enough metaphors?):

Recent stuff:

I was surprised that I didn’t see this, http://tinyurl.com/2vfyc5, pop up on the edublogosphere given all the revelations about conflict of interest in the DOE, etc. I’m sure that Doug Noon, http://tinyurl.com/2spr5b, is cooking something up.

I recently posted a comment, http://www.dangerouslyirrelevant.org/2007/05/internet_in_a_b.html, with this, http://tinyurl.com/34vpzh, link but I'll include it again.
What can I tell you, I'm a sucker for a well done analogy.

Posts or comments from me way back:

Okay, this, http://tinyurl.com/379c3w, post was great because of all the different intersections it came from, and led back to. First, there was the whole editing your blog after the fact issue that came up from Miguel's post. Then, there was the whole discussion on the analogy, whether is was appropriate, and minds were changed (always a nice thing IMO). Then there was my feeble attempts to revive the discussion on political organizing among edubloggers (which generated a couple of comments), and all my links back to prior discussions on that issue. A meaty series of posts and links, no?

This one, http://tinyurl.com/2ro5og, is really "dead Jim", but I think deserves another chance. What say we have a data party this summer folks?
