In our district, we have lacked in DDDM and the use of data. We have so much data that we are awash in numbers that end up having little relevance. Thankfully, our district just hired a Director of Research and Evaluation to lead the way in being a data driven district. I am excited about the future. I forwarded him and the rest of our administrators the paper that Scott posted on DDDM. I will do the same with your survey. It is a good discussion point. Marana has needed a Director of Research and Evaluation for quite some time. It is no longer the small country district northwest of Tucson. I worked with some of the central office administrators on DDDM issues, but they were always so consumed with their other responsibilities and the DDDM took a back seat.
